Hire from our percussion drills for steel, masonry, and wood drilling needs.Click here to read more...
Percussion drilling is a manual drilling method which involves lifting and dropping heavy tools to break aggregate, cement, and concrete, using steel casing tubes to stop the borehole from collapsing. The percussion drilling technique is carried out by breaking up the formation of a material by repeated blows of a heavy bit or a chisel inside a casing pipe. Percussion drilling is often also referred to as 'Cable tool' and will usually have a tripod to support the tools needed. Percussion drills are primarily used for drilling into hard materials such as concrete and masonry using the hammering motion and are powerful enough to go through wood, steel, masonry, brick, and block. Percussion drills are designed with a lightweight frame to make it easy and comfortable to use for long periods of time.
With variable speed options including forward and reverse rotation, our percussion drills are ideal for your site work needs. Equipped with a torque limiter and an anti-vibration system.
