Current Status – Tuesday 3rd November 2020
Buildbase, Hirebase and Electricbase branches as well as our Kitchen and Bathroom Showrooms will remain open to both trade and DIY customers.
You can order online, over the phone or by visiting the branch for both click and collect or delivery.
Following the Government’s announcement of a second lockdown in England we can confirm that Buildbase branches will remain open during this time. This includes our Hirebase, Electricbase and Supply Chain Solution businesses, as well as our Kitchen and Bathroom showrooms.
The Government is keen that construction activity continues in a safe manner as far as possible and it is clearly vital that our essential infrastructure, our homes and public buildings continue to be maintained. As a crucial part of the industry's supply chain our branches remain open and we continue to operate in a safe manner subject to the current Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Face-masks are mandatory in branch.
We ask that all customers use the sanitiser stations inside the branch door.
Please continue to follow any one way systems in place and respect 2m social distancing.
Yards and warehouses remain off-limits for customers.
Contactless or account payment is preferred.
You may visit the branch as usual during normal opening hours and we also have over 23,000 products on our website where you can order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Whilst on site you may be reminded of the new operating procedures. It is critical that you follow these at all times. Should you fail to comply then, for the safety of all other colleagues and customers, you could be denied entry / instructed to leave the branch.

Our aim is to continue to provide the highest level of service to our customers whilst maintaining your safety as well as that of our colleagues. To achieve this, we all need to operate in a different way than we are used to, with safety remaining our number one priority. We believe that by working together to achieve this, we can continue to support you and your business through these difficult times.
We would like to thank you all for your loyalty and continued support as we all adjust to new ways of working
